WHY I COLLECT EMBODIED AI

I buy before I recommend.

A model can talk about the world from a distance. A machine has to live in it. So I want to hold the product, use it, and see what remains after the demo ends. BOT.NEW is where curiosity turns into a collection — and where that collection becomes a more personal way to buy.

READ MY POINT OF VIEW↓

A futuristic shape gets my attention.
A useful machine earns a place in my collection.

01

WHY EMBODIMENT

The body changes intelligence.

A model can rewrite an answer. A robot's movement lands in the real world. How it sees a chair leg, controls its grip, and pauses when unsure tells me more than any polished demo. This is where embodied intelligence becomes tangible.

That is why I follow robotics, spatial computing, wearable intelligence and personal fabrication together. Each field asks the same question: can computation become behaviour that makes sense in the physical world?

02

HOW I BUY

Watch it move. Then ask how it ships.

I want to see how a machine behaves in a real room: what it notices, how naturally it moves, how clearly it signals uncertainty, and how much work it leaves for the person using it.

Then I look behind the product: who made it, how closely production matches the sample, what's actually available, and whether one unit can become one hundred. A good demo earns attention. Consistent performance and dependable supply earn my recommendation.

ABOUT FIFI

Buy with curiosity. Recommend with care.

I'm fifi — close to the people who build hardware, the shelves where it accumulates, and the workshops where it fails. I follow robotics, wearable intelligence and personal fabrication to understand which capabilities are ready for real life and which still belong in a demo.

Some products come home with me because I want to live with them. For others, I go straight to the people who make and supply them. Every product in BOT.NEW needs a clear reason to be here: useful, delightful, thoughtfully made, or genuinely ready to ship. I also want to know who it suits, which version to buy, and how to get it into your hands.

01 / ACTION

Useful in the real world

Can it read a changing environment and turn what it senses into clear, timely action?

02 / OWNERSHIP

Worth my own money

Would I buy it myself, make room for it, and keep using it after the launch-day excitement fades?

03 / DELIVERY

A clear path to delivery

Stock, quantity, lead time, compliance and support all matter — from the first sample to a serious order.

FOUR QUESTIONS I KEEP ASKING

What earns a place in my collection?

These four questions keep my judgment grounded when the launch is loud, the specs look perfect, and the product is wonderfully new.

01 / PROBLEM

Is the problem real?

Does it remove a recurring friction, or invent a scenario simply to display the technology?

02 / BODY

Does the body fit?

Do its form, weight, motion and relationship to space make sense for the task?

03 / FAILURE

Can it fail safely?

When perception, connectivity or action fails, does it stop clearly and let a person take over?

04 / SUPPLY

Is the supply credible?

Is there a clear path from sample to volume, maintenance and support?

See something you like? Tell me. If I have it, I'll quote it. If I need to source it, we can start with one sample and scale from there.
